Treatment Parameters

BodyFX combines three simultaneous mechanisms: RF energy for deep tissue heating, vacuum suction for tissue manipulation, and high-voltage electroporation for adipocyte disruption. Settings are controlled via the workstation interface and adjusted per treatment area and patient tolerance.

Clinical Notes

Apply conductive gel before treatment. Move the handpiece in slow, continuous passes — avoid holding stationary. Mild redness and temporary bruising from vacuum suction is normal and expected. BodyFX is fully non-invasive — no needles, no downtime, and suitable for patients who cannot tolerate procedures requiring recovery. Morpheus8 Body delivers deeper subdermal RF via microneedling for greater single-treatment tissue remodelling but requires downtime. BodyFX is ideal for milder indications, maintenance, or patients who prefer no-downtime treatments. Many clinics offer both in combination for comprehensive body contouring protocols.

BodyFX reduces the volume of targeted adipose tissue through controlled RF-induced apoptosis and mechanical disruption. Results are maintained with a healthy lifestyle, but weight gain will affect the treated areas like any other body area. The treatment is not a substitute for weight management but is effective for localised volume reduction and contour improvement.

Most patients find BodyFX comfortable, describing a warm pulling sensation from the vacuum suction and gentle heat. Settings are adjusted to patient tolerance. Mild temporary bruising from the vacuum suction is common and resolves within a few days.
