Areas Treated

Morpheus8 is optimised for facial and neck treatments, as well as delicate body areas requiring precise, controlled RF energy delivery. The 24-pin tip provides fine resolution across contoured facial anatomy.

Face — Full
Full-face remodelling for skin laxity, enlarged pores, texture irregularity, and early jowling. Depth 1–4mm depending on tissue thickness and target indication.
Periorbital
Under-eye crepiness, hooding of the upper eyelid, and crow's feet. Use shallow depths of 0.5–2mm with reduced energy settings. Protective eye shields required.
Neck & Jawline
Skin tightening and collagen stimulation along the jawline and upper neck for improved definition and laxity reduction.
Acne Scars
Multi-pass fractional RF remodelling for atrophic acne scars — rolling, boxcar, and ice pick. Combines needle trauma with dermal RF heating to remodel fibrous scar tissue.
Stretch Marks
Fractional treatment for striae on body areas requiring more precise treatment than Morpheus8 Body provides — inner arms, breasts, and smaller zones.
Décolletage
Skin tightening and texture improvement across the chest and upper sternum region with adjustable depth based on skin thickness.

Clinical Notes

Topical anaesthetic should be applied 45–60 minutes prior to treatment. Apply firm, consistent pressure with full tip contact for each pulse. 30% overlap between placements. Dark skin types (Fitzpatrick V–VI): do not exceed energy level 20; use a bleaching regimen pre-treatment and consider fractional settings.

FAQs

Common questions about Morpheus8 face and neck treatments. Contact STERN Laser for clinical guidance specific to your practice.

Morpheus8 uses a 24-pin tip optimised for facial and neck anatomy — smaller treatment area per pass, finer resolution, and shallower depth range (up to 4mm + 1mm thermal). Morpheus8 Body uses a larger 40-pin 3D Smart Frame tip for efficient coverage of broad body zones, reaching up to 7mm + 1mm thermal for deeper subdermal adipose remodelling. Both share the same delivery modes and RF technology.
Morpheus8 treats skin laxity, enlarged pores, fine lines, rhytids, atrophic acne scars, irregular skin texture, early jowling, neck laxity, periorbital crepiness, and stretch marks on delicate body zones. It can also be combined with PRP or skin boosters for enhanced results.
Patients can expect 2–5 days of visible redness, mild swelling, and micro-puncture dots. Makeup can typically be applied within 24–48 hours once the needle marks have closed. Deeper or higher-energy treatments may extend visible redness to 5–7 days. Sun avoidance and SPF are essential post-treatment.
Morpheus8 should not be performed over active acne lesions or infected skin. Treatment of acne scars is appropriate once active acne is adequately controlled. For patients with a history of acne, prophylactic antibiotic cover may be considered.
